Wireless charging wherever whenever!

It would be nice to always have a flly charged device whereever you are, wouldn’t it? You are gonna say buy a powerbank. Yeah, but wouldn’t it even better if you didn’t have to carry gadets in order to ensure your battery life? Something like wireless charger for your phone,laptop even for your kitchen and electric car wherever you are.

It’s easy talking about it, but in reality it’s hard since the systems can’t support wireless charging in big areas. The technology we need for wireless charging exists for a while now, yet it cant transfer power to devices in large areas. One might suggest “let’s instal a big receiver” but that would lead to unwanted electromagnetic exporuse and uncontrolled flow to devices. Even if many small transmitters are used, then the devices would have to placed in specific locations to receive the wireless power transfer.

Researchers at Aalto University have managed to overcome these obstacles and develop new power transfer technology which works regardless the position of the transmitter and the receiver.

Technology is meant to make our lives easier, a goal this research will certainly helps us achieve. Just think about you will stop looking for a socket to charge your phone since wherever you are your phone will be able to charge itself. Your electric devices won’t take up space in your room casue all you need to do to activate them is push the on/off button!
