Steve Jobs: The man behind the tech giant

In Did you know that ...

On this day 67 years ago, Steve Jobs was born in San Francisco. One of the most well-known names in the field of computers, despite its failures. One could describe him as innovative, dreamy, passionate about his work but also arrogant, capricious and rude at times. He had an ability to anticipate the future needs of the market, but without Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, who was the brains that made Job’s visions happen, he might not have been able to create the current tech giant.

During his childhood years, he used to spend a lot of time in the garage next to his father, who was a mechanic. He gave him a small space in the garaze, which looked more like a workshop, telling him “this is your workshop now”. He admired his father and his attention in detail in everything he was working on.

When he was 21 years old, they found Apple in 1976. They began by selling blue boxes, a device that allowed users to make long-distance calls with no extra charges. Subsequently , they create the Apple I, the first kit that allowed the user to build his own computer. Thanks to Wozniak’s genius and Jobs’ gift to sell their products, they raised a fund to invest in Apple II. This move consolidated and distinguished Apple because the Apple II allowed the user to create his own programm and sell it. The possibility that Apple II offered to its users helped grow its audience which made Apple profit millions.
